Dubai Sea Dragon Boat Club was formed in November 2007.The Dubai Sea Dragons’ crews are fully trained in water & dragon boat safety and coxswain. DSD comes under the umbrella of the International Dragon Boat Federation (IDBF) and have been training and operating out of Mina Seyahi Dubai.

 





Our Achievements

·      June 2007, Penang International Dragon Boat Festival in Malaysia secured 3rd Place in the Woman’s Open 500 meters.

·      October 2008, International Dragon Boat Competition in Limassol, Cyprus, secured overall 3rd Place 

·      December 2008, Abu Dhabi Dragon Festival current standings 4th for our mixed regional championship.

·      February 2009 Dubai Dragon Boat Festival in the mixed and Woman’s Open 500 meters secured the Premier Woman’s Dragon Boat Champions of the UAE.

·      May 2009, Hong Kong International Dragon Boat Festival secured 2nd in the international Women’s Dragon Boat Race

·      October 2009 Abu Dhabi Dragon Festival 2nd is Women’s 500 meters

·      April 2010 Dubai Festival City races 2nd in the women’s 500 meters

·      June 2010 Macau World Dragon Boat Championship secured 3rd in the women's 500 meters

·      December 2010 Dubai Marina Dragon Boat Festival secured 1st place in 200 meters and 500 meters

·      April 2011 Dubai Festival City Dragon Boat Competition secured 2nd place in 200 meters and 500 meters
